ABOUT CHRISTINE

Christine Picón Van Duzer is a Puerto Rican comedian based in Los Angeles, whose sharp, story-driven comedy turns classrooms, chaos, and midlife reinvention into big laughs. She trained and performed improv and musical improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade and has studied stand-up and commercial acting. Armed with humor and dark chocolate, she spent twenty-five years teaching, a career that continues to fuel her comedy. Comedy is her Third Act, where quick thinking, commanding a room, and wrangling hecklers of all sizes collide. In 2025, she co-produced and performed at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, as well as at Flappers Comedy Club and the Latina Comedy Festival in Chicago. She enjoys making kids smile, but she loves making adults laugh until they snort at life’s absurdities.
